Finding a therapist with the cultural attunement to the intersectionality between mental health, Somali culture, faith, family and identity can make a meaningful difference to ones treatment.
Our counselling directory helps Somali individuals and families discover independent therapists and counselling professionals who understand the communities they serve.

Through facilitated peer reflection, members can explore challenges from their work without judgement, learn from others and feel supported by people who understand the realities of working across professional and community spaces.
Membership also includes access to selected masterclasses, networking opportunities, professional development and student mentorship.
We work with institutions, public-sector organisations, grassroots groups, businesses and corporate teams to strengthen wellbeing across workplaces and communities.
We combine evidence-based modalities, theoretical underpinnings, wellbeing expertise, lived experience and community knowledge to help organisations move beyond one-off awareness sessions and create meaningful, sustainable change.

We deliver educational and psychosocial workshops across schools, mosques, parent groups, community organisations and places of sanctuary.
We take particular care with this strand of our work. Mental health conversations require the right expertise, cultural understanding and ethical approach - especially when working within communities.
If you are planning a mental health event, workshop or community conversation and would like support, please get in touch with our team.
Through our growing network of mental health professionals, we may be able to connect you with an appropriately skilled practitioner or facilitator, matched to the topic, audience and needs of your community.
Our role is to help communities access the right expertise, safely, responsibly and with care.

The project exists to increase visibility, create positive representation and help our community discover the many ways Somali people are contributing, leading and creating change.
